Most tools that claim to fill PDF forms rely on the document having real interactive fields in it. Plenty do not. A form that was designed in Word, printed, filled by hand and scanned is just an image of a form, and a field-based tool has nothing to offer it. Writing on a PDF here does not depend on fields at all: you place text wherever you want it on the page, so a scanned form behaves exactly like a digital one. Type into the blanks, tick boxes with the check stamp, put the date in with the date stamp, and sign at the bottom by drawing with a mouse or finger, typing your name in a handwriting face, or uploading a picture of your signature. If something is already written where it should not be, whiteout covers it. Everything is positioned by eye against the page, so you can line entries up with the ruled boxes on the original.

- **Nudge with the arrow keys**: Arrow keys move a selected item one point at a time, ten with Shift — quicker than dragging for fine alignment.

### Does it work on a scanned form?

Yes. Because text is placed by position rather than into detected fields, a scan behaves the same as a digital form.

### How do I tick a checkbox?

Use the stamp tool with the checkmark preset and click the box. The tool stays selected so you can work through several.

### Can I sign it too?

Yes — draw with your mouse or finger, type your name in a handwriting font, or upload an image of your signature.

### What if I write in the wrong place?

Select the text and drag it, or undo. Nothing is committed to the page until you export.

### Will the filled form print correctly?

Yes. Your entries are written into the page content, so they print exactly as they appear on screen.
